 From Paris

Metz city center is connected by high-speed train (TGV) to Paris "Gare de l'Est" train station (travel duration 1h25). The international airport "Roissy CDG" (TGV station in airport Terminal 2) is also connected by high-speed train (TGV) to Lorraine TGV train station (travel duration 1h10), which is then connected by bus shuttle to Metz city center train station (duration 25 minutes).  From Luxemburg

 Luxemburg international airport is connected to numerous European cities. A bus shuttle (Bus 16) will bring passengers to Luxemburg train station (duration 20 minutes) from where they can travel by train to Metz (duration 50 minutes).  From Francfort

Francfort international airport (Francfurt(M) Flughafen) is easily connected to Metz by train.  The train connects to Metz city center train station, with changes in e.g. Mannheim and Saarbrucken and with a typical travel duration of 3h50. Train schedules can be checked on www.db.de.
